Ted's Garage is a 1950's garage themed restaurant in Clinton, Illinois. Our retro diner specializes in good service and great food, all served in a nostalgic decor and atmosphere. Bring the whole family to our diner and enjoy the food that features choices from a kid's menu to cocktails!
On (3/31) the Parts Department storage shed at Baum Chevrolet-Buick caught fire behind the dealership and spread quickly to Ted's Garage. The damage is extensive and unfortunately Ted's Garage will be closed until further notice.
We would like to take this opportunity to
express how thankful we are to be a part of such a supportive community.
The kind words and gestures we’ve received is what keeps our Ted’s
Garage family so positive during this difficult time.
We currently do
not have any answers as to what may have started the fire at the Baum
Chevrolet-Buick Parts storage shed. It is still too soon to tell what
our next step is but in the meantime we
are focusing on those once employed by Ted’s Garage.
Once again, we
would like to thank all of you for your support including all local fire
departments, and the American Red Cross for assisting Baum
Chevrolet-Buick and Ted’s Garage during this devastating time. We will
continue to post more information as it becomes available.

Dinner at the Garage
When you visit Ted's for the first time you'll soon find that most things on the menu aren't called by their usual names. Tasty onion rings are called "Piston Rings" and our steaks include the "Cheyenne" Sirloin and the "Silverado" Ribeye. Make a mess? Wipe it up with our shop towel napkins! When you're not eating, check out our vintage cars in the showroom and enjoy the 1950's memorabilia that include pictures of Clinton from decades past, and gas pumps from a day when gas only $0.26 a gallon!

Great Service and the Best Food
At Ted's we have a commitment to great service and even better food. Like a good garage, we take pride in what we do and stand behind all our work. Our steaks are all Certified Angus Beef®, and our customers say our baby back ribs are the BEST in the country! If any you are unsatisfied with any part of your experience at Ted's, please let us know, and we will make it right!
Lunch Menu
Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You don't need to substitute good food for speed during our Fast Track Lunch!
Dinner Menu
Our dinner menu is served Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We have daily comfort food specials that include:

Reservations
Reservations are not required but strongly suggested for Friday and Saturday night, and parties 5 or more any time. Call us for same day reservations, and call or email us for advanced reservations. You'll receive a return email confirming your reservation time. No matter how small or large your party, we'll be happy to seat you! If you have a special occasion, consider reserving a private party in our Riviera Room! We look forward to seeing you here at Ted's Garage!
